Solemn Pledge<\/a><\/h2>\n

\u00a0The foundation of\u00a0Yug Nirman Movement\u00a0(Construction of Era) is the Solemn Pledge –\u00a0Satsankalp<\/em>.\u00a0 It is the basis of all ideologies, planning and activities of\u00a0All World Gayatri Pariwar<\/strong>.\u00a0 These declarations incorporate the formula for changing and reforming individuals, their families and the society at large.\u00a0 Every member of Gayatri Pariwar are supposed to read, understand and digest these concepts daily.\u00a0 They motivate us to concentrate on self-reformation – A change in every individual is bound to lead the formation of better society.<\/p>\n

  1. Firmly believing in the\u00a0Omnipresence of God<\/strong>\u00a0and His Unfailing justice, we pledge to abide the essential disciplines of Divine principles (Dharma).<\/li>\n
  2. Regarding the\u00a0body as the Temple of God<\/strong>, we will be ever watchful to\u00a0keep it healthy and full of vitality<\/strong>\u00a0by adopting the principles of self- restraint, order and harmony in our daily-lives.<\/li>\n
  3. With a view to keeping our\u00a0minds free from the inrush of negative thoughts and emotions<\/strong>, we will adopt a\u00a0regular program of study of ennobling and inspiring literature<\/strong>\u00a0(swadhyaya<\/em>) and of\u00a0keeping the company of saints<\/strong>\u00a0(satsang<\/em>).<\/li>\n
  4. We will vigilantly exercise\u00a0strict control over our senses, thoughts, and emotions<\/strong>\u00a0and in the spending of our time and resources.<\/li>\n
  5. We will consider ourselves inseparable parts of the society and\u00a0will see our good in the good of all<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  6. We will abide by basic moral code,\u00a0refrain from wrong doing<\/strong>\u00a0and will discharge our duties as\u00a0citizens committed to the well-being of the society<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  7. We will earnestly and firmly imbibe in our lives the\u00a0virtues of Wisdom, Honesty, Responsibility and Courage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  8. We will constantly and sincerely\u00a0endeavor to create an environment of loving kindness, cleanliness, simplicity and goodwill<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  9. We will prefer failure while\u00a0adhering to basic moral principles<\/strong>\u00a0to so-called success obtained through unfair and foul means.<\/li>\n
  10. We will never\u00a0evaluate a person’s greatness<\/strong>\u00a0by his worldly success, talents and riches but by his\u00a0righteous conduct and thoughts<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  11. We will\u00a0never do unto others what we would not like to be done unto us<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  12. Men and women while interacting with each other will have feelings of\u00a0mutual respect and understanding based on purity of thoughts and emotions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  13. We will regularly and religiously\u00a0contribute a portion of our time, talents and resources for spreading nobility and righteousness in the world<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  14. We will\u00a0give precedence to discriminating wisdom over blind traditions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  15. We will\u00a0actively involve ourselves in bringing together people of goodwill, in resisting evil and injustice, and in promoting New Creation<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  16. We will remain\u00a0committed to the principles of national unity and equality<\/strong>will not make any discrimination between person and person on the basis of caste, creed, color, religion, region, language or gender<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  17. We firmly believe that\u00a0each human being is the maker of his own destiny<\/strong>. With this conviction, we will\u00a0uplift and transform ourselves<\/strong>\u00a0and help others in doing so. We believe the world will then automatically change for the better.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
