We currently have youths between the ages of 6 and 16 that attend the youth group on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of the youth group is to promote healthy learning through fun and enjoyable weekly sessions. We are not here as a religious youth group, but we are here to try to answer questions that all youths have and to provide a learning opportunity to youths who want to learn aspects of the Indian Culture and how it relates to the modern day life.<\/p>\n<p>The youth group takes place on Saturday afternoons between 3pm-5.30pm. We have three age groups; 7 &amp; under, 8-13 year olds, and 14 &amp; over. At the moment we are planning to incorporate delightful activities like; Arts and Craft, Games, Discussions, Debates, Presentations, Literature Reading, Art, Yoga, Tabla &amp; Keyboard Sessions, Drama, Singing, Confidence Building Sessions and many more activities for all to enjoy.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/awgpuk.org\/images\/Services\/youthgroup.jpg\" alt=\"youthgroup\" \/>We are trying to work on a four-weekly rota where the topics are normally covered around; Confidence Building, Spiritual Development, Performing Arts, and one week is usually for giving the youth a chance to prepare &amp; deliver a presentation about something they find interesting, if they wish to.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We hope for the Gayatri Pariwar Youth Group to grow bigger over time with more activities taking place daily or weekly. We&#8217;ve already had a youth camp and we hope to have another one soon. This summer we&#8217;ll also be looking to have a play scheme &amp; day trips possibly.<\/p>\n<p>We welcome you all to attend, and to bring your family &amp; friends too.
